Prologue

Welcome to the Vorydian Chronicles.

This introduction page is here to serve as a very basic overview of what and who we are. In a nutshell, we are a live action role playing game, also known as a LARP. However, the Vorydian Chronicles is much more than a regular LARP or role playing game. The Vorydian Chronicles is owned and operated by New Jersey based business known as the Knights of QQ, LLC. Where many LARPs are run by individuals or Boyscout venture groups, this LARP is not. It is the goal of the Knights of QQ, LLC to bring the best LARPing experience possible to gamers that are both new to LARPs and to gamers that are experienced LARPers. The Vorydian Chronicles is the reality of that goal being attained.

Though this LARP is based in northern New Jersey, LARPers from many different areas attend:

Pennsylvania (PA) LARPers
New Jersey (NJ) LARPers
New York (NY) LARPers
Connecticut (CT) LARPers

Specifically, Vorydian Chronicles the LARP is frequented by LARPers from New York City, New York (NY); Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA); Bergen County, New Jersey (NJ); Essex County, New Jersey (NJ); Monmouth County, New Jersey (NJ); Hudson County, New Jersey (NJ); Warren County, New Jersey (NJ); Ocean County, New Jersey (NJ). However, we wish to expand our LARP to encompass as much as possible.

The LARP is also unique in that it offers a wondrous blend of themes. High fantasy role playing, science-fiction role playing, and Steampunk role playing are all part of what Vorydian Chronicles as a LARP has to offer. Steampunk is one of the newest and most sought-after types of role playing that is out there. Because of this, Steampunk as a theme in the LARP is very heavily emphasized and is a facet of the LARP that can be explored by anyone interested in Steampunk and in Steampunk-themed role playing. However, the LARP also emphasizes high fantasy role playing as well and for more traditional LARPers, we certainly have high fantasy magic, role playing challenges, and the like.
